About The Role
As a Stores Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring materials are accurately stored, issued and available to support the refurbishment production.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory:

Maintain accurate stock levels and locations within the stores – Including labelling, part identification, replenishment of consumables

Perform the goods inwards process – booking in, put away, quality checks.

Perform regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies

Support maintenance of minimum stock levels as required, updating system data where applicable.

Ensure stock movements are correctly recorded in the ERP system.

Picking and Kitting:

Pick and stage kits accurately in line with released job lists

Ensure kits are complete, clearly labelled, and ready for production

Escalate shortages or discrepancies to the Production Planner.

Data Accuracy:

Ensure physical stock matches system data

Follow and define standard processes for goods receipt, put-away, and issuing in a dynamic and changing environment

Maintain clear and organised storage locations – 5S and lean methodologies would be preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience in warehouse or stores operations within a structured environment.

Strong knowledge of inventory handling processes, including cycle counting and stock control.

Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory tracking and data management.

Experience executing physical logistics tasks, including goods receipt, storage, and dispatch.

Ability to perform quality checks and accurately locate parts using system data and documentation.

Highly reliable with strong attention to detail and commitment to housekeeping and safety standards.

Effective team player with proactive communication skills.

Comfortable working in structured, measurable, and target-driven environments.

Able to perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
